Hi

Struggling to locate a supply of 3 ply wool in OLIVE colour, so I can replicate some WW2 knitting patterns I found on-line

Anyone have a possible source for this??

The only 3ply I have located so far is either baby wool (too soft) or rug wool (er, itchy beyond belief!!)

All help appreciated as I've been drawing a blank on this one for some time now

Cheers

Jon

Maybe easier to get white and dye it I'm not sure??

My missus is using some green wool at the moment to hand crochet a blanket for Scruff, a good friend of ours and one of the members here. As you can imagine, it is a fairly large blanket for an adult fellah, so she has quite a bit of it that she gets from a market here in Barnsley. It isn't 100% wool though, so if that is important then there won't be much point in you getting some but if it isn't I'll ask where she gets it and if you get stuck I'll pick some up for you and send it through the post.
