Leather rucksack!

OK so I am in love with Casstrom's reindeer leather rucksack:

But 450 pounds seems a little steep! Does anyone know of any alternatives?!?

Make my own?!? Anyone done this? Is there any guides available, or templates for such a thing?

Would be a nice project might take a while though lots of hand stitching :(
