Hello peeps from ireland

Hi everyone

Just found the site and fantastic it is, signed up straight away.

Im from Ireland, have always been interested in Bushcraft and the outdoors, I was one of those kids who went out on a sat morning to the forest and didnt come home until sunday lol. Some of my fav memories are sittin roun a camp fire with friends cooking up some beans.

Thats were the user name is from my grandmother always used to call my friends and I Comanche's.

But anyway glad to be here and hope to stay for a long time.

p.s can anyone recommend a good bushcraft course to do?

HI Comanche, welcome to the forum. What part of Ireland are you from ? I am from Cork myself.

There is a bushcraft club set up in Ireland already if you want to sign up to that. This is a link to the website, sign up and someone will be in contact about membership and meets etc. http://www.irishbushcraftclub.org/

As for courses I have done a few down in Kerry at http://www.ipna.ie/index.html. Some of the lads have done courses in Northern Ireland at http://www.wild-live.org/. There are a few other courses around the country but I have not met anyone that has been to them so I cant comment. I can recommend IPNA as I have been down there and will be going back before the year is out.
