Mrs S is quite prepared to make like a bear in the woods, but refuses to do so at 3am, so I've ordered one of these to help keep her and the kids from complaining about the toilet arrangements :lmao:

Nice thought but I don't have time - I'm in the woods this weekend and have to cycle to Paris next week :-)

clever bit of kit. I am a little confused why you bought it for the Moot...

What is it about flushable toilets is it that Mrs. S doesn't like?

a) she doesn't want to have to walk to them in the middle of the night and b) we quite like the idea of moving to the woods after a couple of nights...

I love the website - "about as interesting as a cardboard toilet" :lmao:

Sure is an expensive way of buying cardboard!

Fair enough :)

My mum, who come along most years, feels much the same way about night time excursions. So far we have managed okay, but we have always pitched somewhere around one of the clearings. Not sure how she would take to using one of those boxes, but it would be nice to be a little more flexible in picking a spot to set up.

Thanks for pointing them out!:beerchug:

I like this alot.
I have two daughters under ten whom I don't like wandering around site at night.
The Mrs hates having to supervise them at three am when nature calls.(why is it always three am?)
Has anyone thought of using the collapsible buckets from pound shops in some sort of frame for the same purpose?
I feel a project coming on!
