I finally bought myself a digital camera. As I already have lenses for my other canon I bought the body alone, for £200 secondhand which i think is pretty good going. It works fine anyway. Does anyone have one of these? can you give me any tips?
On thing Im finding - i dont know how to switch the flash off when I dont want it.

Hi Lindsay
I have the 450d. If you have the camera set on Auto the auto exposure setting "decides" if you need flash. Try using the camera on the "M" manual setting or "AP" Apeture priority.

Here is a link to the Manual in PDF format..Hope it helps

I picked one up for a similar price not so long ago, there's enough features on there to keep me going for a while.

I think you'll do well with that Linz.

Going digital was one of the best things I ever did with my photography.

It put the fun back into it for me. http://www.wayland.me.uk/assets/images/Photocon.gif

Yes I already let spam spy on the neighbors with it. What a difference a good zoom lens makes! The pictures are far better quality than my compact digital, Im so glad I bought it and I think I made the right choice with something not too expensive but not to shoddy either.
