Green Stalking Knife!

Just received one of Dougster's stalking knives, "#4" I believe, and with a beautiful set of stabilised burr scales in GREEN!:)

Whilst I will endeavour to provided an early field-based review with pictures I just wanted to say how blown away I am by what I've just unwrapped. If I'm honest the web-based pictures I had seen of it in no way do justice to any aspect of the knife but especially the blade. It appearing in the photos to have a lack of sharply defined contours which is simply not the case.

Great work Dougster. I just love the way if sits in the hand and hits the retina!

I will endeavour to make sheaf worthy of holding it.

The only improvement I can suggest at this stage would be to have the blade etched with you logo etc. Purely cosmetic but a nice touch.:cool:

Oh, it looked good too when passing through our Post Room's x-ray scanner!:lmao:

He's a very clever chappy, my favourite bushy blade is a Mick Spain/Dougster combo which is finished with Welsh figured Ash.

Wouldn't go that far Shewie mate, I just like vigorous sanding....

This is the best bit - when people get the knives and like them. I hope to start doing blades soon and see where that goes.
