Wanted - Thin veg tan.

Hi all. I'm after just over a square foot of thin veg tan. Not even sure how thin veg tan goes but somewhere about 1mm would be good.
I have some 1mm goatskin and it's a good thickness but want to wet form round a wierd shaped plank, glue it down then wax it and would prefer to work with veg tanned.

Can swap for the same area of the goathide(it's dyed brown), 2-2.5mm veg tan, rawhide(not doggy chews) or other stuff(Beeswax or make you a bowstring or......I dunno, stuff).

...to cover up a cheat:o . I'm going to glass the top of the leeboard and hide it under the leather.

It should make the board more user-friendly as well. Won't clatter like wood against wood.

No pics but the first coat of sacraficial varnish is on and I'll pick up the epoxy I need to seal the last of her on saturday(and more varnish). Messed up tonight, the clouds were building and it's come to nothing and I could have got another coat of varnish on.
