Got a tee shirt which I want to fix, I gotta reinforce the seams at a couple of points. If I use leather to fix it ,what will it be like when I wash it?

TIA

Crome tanned might go a little stiff, Veg tan is very likely to go stiff, Chamois won't.

Why leather ?

Why leather ?

Its ventile and ripped near a pocket, a nice little leather patch both sides in the same place might not look odd and yet will still cover my sewing:).

I have also managed to pullout an eyelet on the waist drawstring and I figured that a bit of leather will prevent the toggle from pulling through again, even without an eyelet.

I have a fair bit of leather thonging. Does that count?:D
