This has been posted over on British Blades already but i thought it may be of interest to BCUK members as well.
It's made by a good friend of mine, DavidH on BB.
O1, brass and curly birch witha scandi ground blade.
The blade sticks out 65mm and the overall length is 172mm.

I think (hope) he will make a few, i watched this one as he developed it and thought it was pretty good but when i handled the completed knife last night i was blown away.
The walk and talk is just perfect, a lot of hand made folders can be a bit gritty or hard to open or not enough tension on the back spring etc. etc. but the action on this is as good as any quality production knife.
Very tidy work
I want one too
As I said on BB that is very nice
There's a fair market out there for them for a mid-scale manufacturer.

the thing that gets me is the skandi grind, very hard to come buy and un-heard of for a legal folder genius!

Lovely to see someone making a scandy folder. Sadly much too angular in the handle for my taste but the fit and finish look great.

That's very, very nice. If a thumb-thingummy was added for one handed opening would it then be illegal?
Cheers, Michael.

What's the grind on the Fallknivens? (TK4 etc). Not legal due to the locking though I think.....

Now whilst not as "pretty" I reckon that would be much more comfortable to use. I reckon thats a winner!

Aye that's the idea with the fuller handle, the first design was a folder with a scandi blade - this one has more of a folding fixed blade feel to it.
That does look like it would e a much better fit in my hand, but both stunning execution of the craft!
Cheers

They're cool knives but I think I prefer a drop point in bushcraft folders like in a lot of the Bernie Garland bushcraft folders!

Had mine for awhile now,and in all honesty it's the best Folder I have, small but hefty, and the Scandi Edge is perfect.
I'd recommend them to a mate.well worth the money

is bernie's folder a legal EDC?
Not as far as i know, i think he uses the Darrel Ralph folder kits and makes a new blade for them so they are liner locks.

BTW these UK legal EDC scandi knives are made from scratch not from a kit - just to avoid any confusion.

i hope he will be selling them, there would be a huge demand for these knives.

He is selling a few but there is a lot of work in them so production is fairly slow.
