Does anybody kmow where in the UK i can get an Akubra Sombrero, or can you only get them from Oz ?

Guess thats a no then .
There is a hat shop in Bridport, Dorset that stocks Akubra hats - just can't think of the name of it...

Hats direct. including postage is cheaper than buying in the UK.

Here's another vote for Hatsdirect, they ship as a gift - very fast.
:D hatsdirect is good mate, you will pay a fortune for one in the uk. see what i,ve started now . everybody wants my hat in the pic and not my woody .

Gill, you certainly have started something. I cant think of a better canoeing hat !
Put my order in with Hatsdirect, but they wont have my size, ( 59 ), until the end of June !!, bugger !!
The one place i found in the uk stated it would take 3 months and £100 + postage.
Hatsdirect, £80 inc postage form OZ !!!
one thing if i may point out .the hat colour is a dark brown in the flesh ,and came with a black and white calfskin band ,which the photo does not show .bushtucker mans and the pics show the hat to look fawn/sand colour.which it is not and you cannot get another colour.
