We've got a variety of sharpening / edge maintanence products this time.
A Sharpmaker, car of Spyderco.
An instruction video on how to use and Edge Pro.
Honing Leather and honing chromium oxide care of Hand American.
And a natural sharpening stone care of one of the formites (Kieth).

The Sharpmaker is fixed to either 30 degrees inclusive or 40 degrees, I used to use it for all my sharpening, now I use it for very quick and clean touch ups.

The Edge Pro on the other hand will sharpen to any angle you want. The instruction video demos the Edge Pro Proffessional, but works just as well for the Edge Pro Apex (cheeper version). I now sharpen and/or re-profile on the Apex as it's so quick.


Whats wrong with a normal waterstone?, well the first thing I did with the Edge Pro Apex was to go back and repair all the old sharpening mistakes from my freehand sharpening days :-D
