where do you guys all go for practice or for a night out etc? I don't know of anywhere where you can have open fires??

Still been trying to find somewhere in Essex I have even spoken to the scouts to see if we can use there sites but the man is saying that all the adults that use this site have to be CRB checked just incase there are children about.
Spoken to Greenman bushcraft and they have said to find a wood to do this is near on impossible and if you do then you will be asked about insurance.
then we get into the world of money, most wood owners I have spoken to are asking for stupid amounts to use there woods for the weekend one even asked for no less than £100 a head.
I think it will never happen in essex so I am looking in going down the stealth wild camping route to do what I want.
Can be the only way.

Have you checked into the Norfolk and Norwich group thread? I know it sounds miles away but I think they meet up in Suffolk sometimes. Try giving Rappleby a shout.

theres a woodland near me thats up for sale at the moment.
