After making up some Aussie stockman style knife case's . I was having a surf and found this : stockman 1 quat (bush) pot + cup in stainless steel . Have any of are Aussie member or other member use one ? good or bad before i buy one, all help welcome.

Did you subtract the 10% tax when you worked out the price BTW?

From what I understand most stations would have a cook and if the stockmen were out and about then they would still cook communally - mostly camp ovens and billys are often just large tins with a wire (probably fencing) bale fitted - nothing fancy. Check out Jack Absalom - a true bushman and he uses what looks like an old golden circle pinapple tin

Put in quart pot in the search bit on the site. As to the tin can billy , i like the pattern of the quart pot.
