Hi again,

when PM' ing to group members is there any way i can send to the whole group?
I know of around 30+ members that count themselves as possible members of the Norfolk and Norwich group.

But sending PM's to groups of 5 each time:

You may send your message to up to 5 people at a time.
Separate multiple user names with ';'
obviously takes time, Is there a way that Group leaders could have some sort of PM "Gold key" so they can PM to everyone in their group.
It would save loads of time, and would ensure that no one misses out.

Is this Possible?

Cheers

Sorry mate :( ... I dont think there is. Sometime ago we did allow people to send mass pm's but it was abused so we cut the max amount that can be sent at one time.

We have a similar problem at school, for emergency closures etc, and have telephone "tree".

One person initiates a message by ringing a few people, who then each ring a few more and so on.

As long as you put the more "reliable" at the top of the tree, the system works well.

Obviously you would have to work out who contacts who, but in theory, each member should only have to send one PM.

You could even have a "lost comms" policy, whereby everyone responds to you acknowledging the message.

HTH?
