hellow everyone.

I'm from Holland isn't that weird, but seriously. My name is Bas Groeneveld "Greenfield"
I have been interested in nature and wildlife since childhood, and my first contact with bushcraft was a episode of country tracks with Ray Mears(at the age of 9) where he made willow Whistle. But never really pick up on it.

And 3 years a go I started a study to become an outdoor instructor. ( climbing, kayaking and hike)
At which point I started with bushcraft again, because with a hike its better to carry a lot in your mind then on your back.
I have even started teaching to the 1e and 2e year students, mainly shelter building and fire.

Greets

Bas

Hi Bas,

Welcome in and pull up a log to the fire!

How common a name is 'Groenveld' - very appropriate anyway!

Cheers,
Steve
(who once knew a Ernstjan - sp? - Groenveld in the UK about three decades ago!)

BCNL that would be fun.

But then again it just wouldn't be same, and I don't see that happening soon as Bushcraft isn't as big in Holland compared to the UK. Sadly
