Petzl Tikka Plus

If anyone's interested, I came across some Petzl Tikka Plus headlamps in my local branch of the Decathlon store marked down from a normal price of £29 to a special of £15.

It sounds like this is a decent piece of kit at a very good price, so I thought I'd offer to grab extras for anyone who wants them.

There were maybe 10 on the shelf on Sunday night and although the store is 20 miles away I'll be passing again on Wednesday PM.

The lamps were new, blister packed, the four LED version on a woven nylon headband, not the retractable sort, and the head was moulded from black plastic. They were some sort of special edition - not knowing the range I don't know precisiely waht was special about them. I DON'T think they're the taktikka one with the red filter built in.

Anyway, If you're interested, drop me a PM ASAP (before End Tuesday 2nd Nov) and I'll see what I can do. I'd have to add the cost of a jiffybag and Registered or Special delivery postage but they're quite lightweight so post shouldn't be stupidly dear.

My Tikka Plus arrived today.

Great torch. I already have a three LED version of the Tikka but it does not have the variable power and the adjustable angle bracket. For £15 this was a first class deal.

On my last visit though, they had replenished the stock of half price lamps on the shelves. They must have had a fair stock of them.

Great products. I have the Myo 3 which is a superb headtorch. I will check out local prices as they are a French company.
