Is £15 a good price for a petzl tikka plus and do you recommend them ?

One of my local stores has a few of these on promo marked down from their normal price of about £29

I think thay're a special edition of some sort, the plastic head is mostly black colored, but they're definately petzl, 4xLED's only, new in the blister pack.

Yes and absolutely. Flippin, blimmin brilliant headtorch. :biggthump

I have a Tikka Plus - great headtorch. That's an excellent price.

The dim setting is bright enough in proper darkness and batteries last for yonks.
The light is nice and light on your head and can be dropped to hang around your neck when not in use.

Go for it!

I have this lamp and I think, it is excellent.

But there also is an lamp called Taktikka Plus. It ist the same as the Tikka Plus but has a red filter to switch over the LEDs. So you can preserve Your night vision an instantly have white light if You want. I also have this lamp and prefere it. This is really a nice lamp!

For the other You can get a red an green filters set, but You need a screwdriver to change it.

Therefore better go with the Taktikka Plus!
