just bought a gelert 2/3 season sleeping bag at halfords for £9.99 :o):

i posted elsewhere that they have tents too, very much end of line at the mo but heck at that price i cant complain

pretty sure that it will keep me warm in this weather anyway

its a black Tryfan 300

says its good 13 C to freezing and in extreme -5 C

which is pretty much a scottish winter without the really really cold bits

mebbe give it a whiz at the weekend :o):

they have been kicking around in store for months

if you want one best go have a look see if they are there

been watching these ones getting marked down since august

Tant, find the coldest part of the house (garage, pantry or whatever) and spend a night in there first.

I know it is not the great outdoors, but it will tell you if it can withstand ambient temperatures down to the levels that are claimed and if it doesn't you always have a warm bed to retire to without being stuck in the middle of knowhere freezing your do dah's off :o):
