Hi every body i thought yous mite whant to take a gander at one off five knifes completed over the last month this one is however a clone.i don't really like to copy some body else's designs i like to design my own where ever possible however im very please with the finished knife i believe its a nussmeck . not certain if Ive spelt it correct thou:confused: typical i can make the dam knife but can't spell right count thank god for spell check ;) right back to this knife the blade is made off an old industrial hacksaw blade English made. not the best but can still be drilled for the handle pins and cut and shaped then hardened as normal. the wood handles where made off some drift wood picked up from my local beach i think thay are Berle or birch i had to cut them on my electric hand sew dodgy:eek: sand them in to some sort off shape to fit them to the blade then i sanded them into shape treated wood with 2 cotes off super glue to harden wood and stabilize then sanded back and 2 cotes off clear varnish then sanded again what you see is the finish :D any comments welcome ill post the other 4 knives on other threads thanks lads

Beautiful knife! Very well done. That looks like spalted elm Stanley ... spectacular wood at that! Yours looks like one of the better Nessies I've seen. Again, good job.

Be safe.
