Thought I'd put up a couple of pics of my first stick tang effort. Made a few mistakes - thought it might help anyone else having a go if I posted them here!
Blade is from Brisa, handle in curly birch, leather and moose antler.

Mistakes; when I glued and then clamped the handle components I clamped the butt of the handle and the leading edge/bolster of the handle - I should have clamped handle butt to blade tip (secured in a piece of wood). Because I only clamped the handle, it didn't seat fully down on to the blade - there's a small gap which is annoying! There is also a very slight gap between one of the leather spacers and the birch - not entirely sure why, I guess it may be to do with how I glued (epoxy) and clamped again.

Managed to rivet over the end of the tang pretty successfully without major splitting.

I enjoyed the process but will be sticking to more leather work for the time being - I'll be trying this again though I'm sure!
Thanks for looking :)
