Hi Folks,

A friend of mine with no net access is going to Canada for a holiday. (I did offer to carry their bags for them, but they still wouldn't buy me a ticket ) They're gonna be in Vancouver and Whistler and I was wondering if any one could recomend any knife and camping/outdoorsy type shops worth a look.

Mountain equipment coop is quite a popular one and very good prices. I'm not sure if they have a site but I'll check. It might not be very bushcraft but lots of goretex and rucksacks etc.

I would definetly recommend mountain equipment coop, everytime i am in canada i visit it without fail, really good prices on clothing and i am sure you wont come back empty handed from a trip to it. The street in Vancouver it is on has quite a few outdoor stores, all worth a visit.
Enjoy.
