Hi All,

In a good way I am going to have a kit sale and donate money to the Help for Heroes Charity at Swyn's New Year Moot.

All these items are way surplus to my requirements and it seems selfish to hoard them when others could benefit. Also, I would like the bulk of the proceeds to go to charity. I feel that Help for Heroes is the most worthy at this time.

A brief run down of what's available at the moot:-

Swedish Army patrol pack: 35 litres. Super Grade 1 £15 (£10 to H4H)
British Army basha - Olive green: As New £20 (£15 to H4H)
British Army Poncho - Olive green: Grade 1 £10: all to H4H
British Army Poncho - Olive green: Grade 2 £5: all to H4H
Mini Trangia Stove £10 (£5 to H4H)
Various Trangia 25 & 27 pans: All NEW £1 each : All to H4H
CCS Camera case - suit digital compact etc £5 - All to H4H
Mountain Hardware Stingray 11.5 Tarp (with poles & pegs) £25 (£15 to H4H)
Trangia 25 kettle NEW £8 (£5 to H4H)
2x Thermarest Litetech mats (Full length 25mm thick when inflated) £15 each (£10 each to H4H)
New Item: Bolle Glacier Glasses in Hard Case: New £25 (£20 to H4H)

I'm still rummaging through my kit hoard, so the list may grow! All items will be available for full inspection at the moot. Please come with cash if you are buying.

cheers

Now there's a smashing idea.

I have a few small items that could go in too.

Swyn.

Hi Nathan,

will be first come first served on the day: that is fairest to all: unless folks want to want to have an auction and I'll make a donation that way?

Just to allow democracy a chance I have added a poll to the thread; place your bets, roll the dice, pick a number... :)

I've found so far;

A brand new 'Shing' Bushcraft knife and sheath. It's got swirly rivets and a wooden handle.

Similar Indianna Jones bag, ie, new unused. I bought two and have only used one.

Some traditional rectangular British army mess tins (nesting pair unused)

Some other circular nesting tins and assorted pots.(used)

A 58 pattern sleeping bag in good order working zip, clean, NOT smelly! Sized for those under 5'11. I purchased this for my son a couple of years ago and he has progressed to my old Alpkit Pipedream now he's more competant.

If I can find it... A clikstand and burner.

Swyn.

Nice one Swyn - I think we'll go for a sale rather than an auction?
