Going to Chicago

Well folks i'm off to the tri esox show in Chicago in January, for those that don't know its the biggest pike fishing show in the world and runs over three days. The thing is i'm over there for more than just three days, is there any local bushcrafty kit i can pick up when i am over there, any recomendations for stuff to get upto from anyone that has visited before??

Not sure but there are some huge sand dunes on the southern edge of Lake Michigan, just outside Chicago. Try a visit to a Cobella's or a Bass Pro shop. they are full of goodies.

Not sure what there is in the way of bushcrafty things to do near to chicago but if you head further north its one big playground.

Its also cold with plenty of snow at the moment.
