Does anyone know where I can obtain an ACR Firefly strobe light (with the IR filter hood) fairly quickly without spending the earth?

They used to crop up in surplus stores from time to time, I suppose I should've bought one when I had the chance.

Anyhoo, if anyone knows where I could swiftly acquire one, please let me know.

Thanks all.

The only one I can see with and IR filter is the Military Firefly MS 2000. RV-1 (http://www.tss-online.com/docs/Products2.asp?ProductID=988&ProductTypeID=12&Start=0) sell them at reduced rate but they are still expensive £98.50 reduced from £140!

What's it for?

An exercise where we need to set up a ground to air signal visible on nvg's. Basically an admin cockup that I can't get one through the right channels. What I'm after is a 'my local army surplus has one in anytown' type answer.

Any takers?

Anyone want to sell me one??
