Too late to harvest haws ?

I`ve seen loads today but they all seemed a bit too leathery and very dry inside.

I`d like to try the sauce HFW made in the week.

Should still be fine. Sometimes they can be dry, add a bit of water when you process them and they should work just as well. Try from different trees before you settle on where to take from, I have had ones that were really sweet and others that were plain minging!
