Just got one of these to ease the pressure of waiting for a North Star.
Its got red maple burl scales with mosaic pins. Its a true 'pocket knife' only about 5" long with 1.75" cutting edge. its sharp and infinately useful as well as being extremely pretty and well made.Bring on the North Star!

Its a fine looking knife you have there. I will have to place an order for one myself. Did you get to choose the wood?
i have a Mikro on order.. good to hear a good review..
Wayne.. check this (http://66.147.225.206/index.php?cPath=3_152_5_140_14 2&osCsid=fe6118935a64d8e92ac8dcb 9bf037a5d) out.. and if you want to order contact Joe (ODS) on british blades there seems to be an almost infinate number of handle materials for you to chose from!

I just ordered it from Joe.Follow Toms Link.
I chose it because it was the only wooden one with mosaic pins he had in stock. But in retropect I think I would have chosen it even if I'd had a choice.
You lot are trying to get me in more trouble with Val. luckily Joe is out of stock. Maybe next month I can slip one of these quietly into the house undetected.

The Mini's and Mikro's have been hard for me to keep up with.
Sorry for the inconvience. I'm going to try to have Joe stocked up on Mini's in a couple more weeks. I think my production runs have been too small.(500 to 750 at a time)
Thanks again for all of your input and support.
Mike..........

Bob,
I just realized that you may have the only one we ever made in the Red Maple Burl.
I can't get the material very easily and A.G. sent me a couple of pieces for my private stock. Joe beat me up until I sent him a Mikro in that stuff.
Is this your knife?

WOW, purdy knife. You are indeed a lucky guy.
Mike, you make a beautiful and apparently very functional line of blades. If I'm lucky, the wife will order me up a NorthStar with the Ivory scales and mosaic pins.
