Does anyone remember the name of the little plastic thingies that you can clip to a tarp to use as an attachment point (ie for a guy line)???
Ive seen them before somewhere but cant remember where.
Oh, and I know you can use a round stone but I'm looking for something a little more permanent.
Cheers Guys/Gals

I'm thinking of using these to fix down a poncho instead of using eyelets or loops.
Thanks for the Ebay link BTW.

Seemed a good idea at the time, also, my brain hurt thinking about them :S
What ever you do don't use the clingons on the unreinforced part of your tarp, I did this and with hardly any pressure on the guy line the clingon flew off taking a big chunk of the tarp with it. My own stupid fault but I didn't realise it would happen.
Just a warning or heads up as you will!!
What tarp were you using and where did you fit it?
It was a DD 3m x 3m tarp, I attached it to the centre of the tarp because there are no loops. Big, Big mistake on my part!!
Ah.... I see.
Should be OK on the edges though?

Yes, I would say they would be ok on the reinforced edges where its double layered!
Just not on the main material.
You can get them for HK$4 each in the market here, but they really need a good seam or a cord reinforced edge to grip.
