I wanted to say Hi all as a newbie to the art of bushcraft. I have just moved to Cheddar and want to learn more about the landscape around me, and what I can do for it and what it can do for me.

In a small way I am starting to 'live' off the land - got a couple of bottles of blackberry whisky brewing, got a freezer full of more blackberries and this morning picked a few pounds of sloes for gin and vodka (you can see where one of my main interests lies....)

So again, hello to you all, thanks for posting as much as you do (and making me feel so so inadequate about what I do) and rest assured I will be reading about your hints, tips, ideas and adventures.

Paul
