For those of you who have'nt visited the site or have'nt been there for a while, I have just noticed the Wildfood School has changed it's URL.
It is now:
www.wildfoodschool.co.uk

I was talking to Marcus at the Gathering and he had some really good new books and guides on display, he also is planning some new and a bit different course for next year, based on some of his new stuff.
Have a look.

:sadwavey: How about you ask him up to your neck of the woods, if enough ask he might consider it, He seems nice enough.

Marcus does seem to be a very nice guy. I thoroughly enjoyed his walk this year at the Moot, ( I did the heathland one I think, dewberries, thistles, sea buckthorn and fire weed were a few of the things sampled and looked at along the way) and also went to the wild food cook off which was very enjoyable. Noodles and burdock root, with the stalk of the burdock leaf added too if I remember correctly. The Knudeln was very tasty, my efforts have not produced the same thing yet so I'll pay more attention this coming year!

Definitley one of the highlights of the Moot for me.

Im saving up for a course. Said I wouldn't go on any more since the family/mortgage but I think its rarther nessesary. Plus its an excuse to go to cornwall which is the finest of places.

I'll take your word for Marcus being a nice guy. You'll have a much harder time convincing Mrs T though, who witnessed his unnecessary and very public attack on Rachael Lambert when she "dared" to try and join one of his walks.

Completely out of order and against the spirit of the 'moot by all accounts.

Well, I can imagine he was probably a bit stressed at having to tell people umpteen times that he could only take 12 maximum! As I didn't witness it myself I shan't base my opinion on hearsay. What I experienced was a guy willing to share his knowledge and freely in to the bargain.
