I had one but cost me a fortune in the courts, was far from lightweight, but boy was she an old one!
Ok you lot are getting quicker, I wondered how long it would take to hit the boards...
Bare with me on this one we're still testing it I'll let you know a lil bit more when I can.
anything new on this.. or should i get a hennessy for christmas
I believe its being tested as we speak in the jungle by a certain BCUK moderator.... there are also a few suggested modifications being worked on. Can't wait to get my hands on one.
:-)

Bit of extra information to keep you guessing, the Bushbag is a hammock, thats waterproof although no tarp is needed, it'll also be able to be used on and off the floor. Set up time between two trees is about 3 minutes the first time, after that around 60 seconds. It'll weigh in at under a kilo and fits into a side pocket on my 35l sack. Initial costing looks like its going to be between a POD and a Hennessey.
Thats about all I can say at the moment, like Ed says, its being tested in the jungle at the moment, as soon as its gets back we've got a couple of mods to make to it then production should start.
Matt
i'll hold out on the hennessy then
whats the rough eta for hitting the market?

I daresay when Lithril is ready he will post picks of it, I know that he has been developing the idea for quite some time, but cannot tell you more as I don't know.

Remember to make sure it will suit us tall folk.
At the moment I'm awaiting the results of the trial, I'll have a better idea then of a finalisation time.
I wouldn't worry too much if the standard size isn't big enough (should be I'm 5'11 and about 16 stone and its plenty big enough for me), we can custom make without any problems.
Sorry to keep you in the dark I'll let you know more as soon as I can.

Hope its small enough that a shortarse like me doesn't need a compass to find the way out.
The R and D department must be on daywork :D
I'm still making some changes to it at the moment, the lady thats doing the inital sewing work seemed to stop talking to us for about 3 months but thats sorted now so I can get the rest of the mods made now.

That's it, you’ve found it. (Ahh, Lith, they know what you’ve been up to!) What that doesn’t tell you is that it's 7 feet long and you just throw the strap over a branch, jump in and let the flap fall down for a complete environmental protection system and it's endorsed as well!! :lmao:
I believe that lithril is still working on it, but he is having problems with the scud missile repellent and he can't seem to find the weapons of mass destruction that he planted in there:D

I believe that Matt is still working on it, but due to a number of life factors he hasn't been able to spend a massive amount of time working on it.
