thought i would show you guys where i live, it's a great place for camping, you can camp anywhere and folks just leave you to it, orkney is like going back 50 years in time, we don't lock our doors and we have time to chat when we meet.

It is a beautiful looking place and your pics are really good. You might want to change your last post to

''we didn't get hordes of tourists until I showed everybody on BCUK where I live''

I can see it now, hammocks and tarps blowing in the breeze every where you look... lots of people wearing olive green wandering all over.... the smell of woodfires and stew...

Make up the beds Blueprint, I'm on my way! Only joking, though it looks stunning, quite similar to the North Antrim coastline where I'm near. I'd love to visit Orkney sometime.

tourists like you guys are fine, we get a lot of back packers and surfers, we thankfully don't get any families with screaming kids, might have something to do with the fact we don't have sea fronts with arcade machines lol
