Helllo everyone,

Iīve been looking at this pack for quite some time. It has some nice features like the back ventilation and the splash proof zipper that are hardly found on other military packs. Can anyone here tell me weather itīs worth its price and give me the measurements, especially on the back length?

Thanks in advance,

Ben

Anyone going to post a quick review of this sac? I'm quite interested too but was having second thoughts on the durability of the zippers?

Was also wondering it or the Delta 25 would take a 3L Thermoback (made by Camelback) ........ it says it's hydration compatible? In what way?

Tony or Alick, if memory serves me right you guys have one?....... or anyone else. :D

I use the D25 all the time - a great little pack. For hydration purposes it has a small double zip at the top of the pack and a snap-lok fastened elastic edge pocket built into the inside back of the 'sac to hold a hydration pack. I don't use hydration hoses myself but I reckon you would get 3l into this pocket easily - it extends the whole length (height?!) of the 'sac. I just tried a 1l Platypus in there and there was plenty more room around it - you do intrude upon the rest of the carrying space however when using the pocket.

I find the outside mesh pockets are perfect for 0.5l Platypuses - easy to grab hold of and return to - with securing loops as well.

Hope that helps.

Bob :)

Thanks for the info. The only thing that’s putting me off with the Delta (either of them but I'm leaning towards the 35) is the zip on top. How did yours stand up to the rainforest Stuart ....... did it leak at all? Bob has yours held out ok?

Also how long is the back? It looks as though its quite long (although I haven't seen any pictures of people wearing it so it could just be the design/brochure photos that make it look that way!). I'll be needing it to ride quite high up my back ........ I suppose all I have to do is just adjust the shoulder straps.

Thanks for your help.

Hi BM

Had no problems with any rain ever entering the 'sac - ask Stuart about the inclement conditions he would have encountered in the rainforest!!

Total back length of the Delta 25 is approx. 20 inches (50 cms) with effective length between the upper and lower strap attachment points of approx 15 inches (38 cms).

I find it an extremely comfy 'sac to wear which tends to just 'sit' and feel right.

Hope this helps.

Bob :)
