Hello all,
I am a new member from the "Singing Paddles" crowd.
I am interested in any views on the above tent (particularly with the extended fly) as an item suitable for canoe camping.
I use a Venor Lavvu with stove in the winter, and have a Wild Country two man lightweight job for stealth camping, but selfishly also want something in between. I like cotton, and see the Good Companion as both strong and providing a space suitable for comfort. Are there any other similar style cotton tents out there that I should be considering?
Thanks for any responses.
Richard.

Oh well never mind.
Any views on the Relum Task Force tents instead?
Richard.

no idea on the tents but I'm amazed no one else has offered any comment.

Welcome to the forum Richard, I went the other route from here to there, so to speak.
There's time yet for a proper response, I think quite a few are still recovering from the"moot":D
best wishes

They are a cracking tent, brings back many happy memories for me and I picked one up not long ago

Perfect for canoe camping, too heavy for backpacking, careful how you pitch it though, wind driven rain hitting the doorway will mean you get wet
