Army Sleeping Bag

Guys,

Looking for some advice & info on a sleeping bag that I have used for years

Its an ex-army one filled with feathers and is pretty warm.

I take it these bags are very good for camping outdoors?

Or should I consider gettting a newer bag from somewhere?

Top bags, i have been using them for years as well ,you cant go wrong with them ! :)

they work as well as anything else but do get smelly thanks to a filling of chicken feathers. if you have a good one then great but most are a bit rancid :)

I must admit that as soon as I could afford it I bought a buffalo bag and a bivvy bag.
