Dont Bivi bags need to be waterproof?? Maybe im wrong, but Nylon isnt, (is it?)

I'm assuming the 5000mm is hydrostatic head. so water proof.

Buy an issue goretex bivvy bag, it'll save you a lot of hassle and damp gear in the long run.
Honestly, I speak from experience of "breathable" nylon:D

Don't waste your money buy one from alpkit (http://www.alpkit.com/shop/cart.php?target=product&product_id=16312&category_id=253) The quality of they're products are excellent.

btw I have no links to this company bar as a VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER.

It's ok as an emergency item in your daypack BUT for the price,as has been said get an alpkit Hunka or army bivi.

If going for the Alpkit wait for the Hunka XL or you won't be able to fit a mat inside it.
