Carving santa

Well, I decided to start with the Tom H. Santa Study Stick Tutorial (http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.com/forum/f64/tom-h-santa-study-stick-tutorial-12964/) in the Woodcarving Illustrated forum. I started this morning and this is where I got to:

This is a branch I put a corner on with my draw knife and plane :) There's a couple of bits left to do but I'm going to rest before I carry on. It was all done with my new pocket pal SAK.
