Hi.
Just wondered if anyone out there has a 4 metre bell tent? I am gonna buy a bell tent but is a 4 metre big enough for a family of 2 adults and 3 kids? I know you can get 5 metre ones but would like to be cosy! Anyway, advice much needed. Many thanks. Not good at making decisions.

If you can wait a couple of weeks I'll be able to tell you as we're taking ours for it's first outing (to Camp Bestival at Lulworth!) with the 2 kids.

I saw a 4m one up last weekend and it looked a reasonable size from the outside - I can give you first hand experience very soon! (Camping over the weekend of 18/19/20 July).

That would be great thanks. I defo want to get one but wish I could see them up first to get an idea. Well, look forward to your report and hope you have a good one.

I bought a 5m diameter one and it is huge. Room enough for two adults and four children. You should be okay and they look great. Frame tents were being blown down but the Bell Tent was fine.

A guy I know up north has used a canvas bell tent if some very extreme weather and the tent stood its ground and stayed dry

These are getting good reviews and a lot cheaper than some tipi and other canvas tents
