I recieved my Allan Blade Packpal knife today. Very nice, as is the sheath. Any hints forwithdrawing and replacing the knife in the sheath because it is quite tight and black marks are already starting to appear of the blade and handle. Cheers

Is that the Scand ground Packpal or the original?
If you heat up the sheath with a hairdrier it will loosen it off but do not heat it too much, just enough for it to start going soft.

Has Allan started the new run on the packpal knives?
Has Allan started the new run on the packpal knives?
If you mean the Scandi Grind version of it more than likely, the e-mail that he sent me on 03/09/04 said that he would commence crafting the first batch of them in 2 weeks time, so that would of been the 17th.
