Hey everyone,

I was sent an excellent article for WildernessWiki.org on making a live bird trap by Mac (pict). It's called the "Arapuca". There's a video on constructing the trap in the article. Pretty ingenious - two pieces of cordage and a bunch of sticks is all it takes!

Hmmm, you're right...I did a cut and paste! Use the search facility with the exact title of your thread and you'll find one that Pict put on.

Try this one (http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/showpost.php?p=398416&postcount=1). Trying to link to a thread doesn't seem to work any more. However, if you link to an individual post ...... :D . Linking to an individual post is done by clicking on the post number (the underlined number in the top right corner of each post), then copy ..... yada, yada, yada. Then all you need to do is click on the underlined thread title in the top right corner of the link - et voila ..... success - you can view the whole thread. Hope this helps.

I was surprised to see that on the wilderness wiki. I didn't invent that trap, it is very common here in Brazil (actually I'm writing from Miami right now). I had never seen that trigger in any books. Mac
