G'day fellas The boss made me do this for the web site, after having heard me do the demo at the counter at work 7 or 8 thousand times over the last 6 years. If your not familar with the Spyderco 204 I did neglect to mention the set comes with a DVD and a Booklet of instructions.
Please don't laugh too loud I'm delicate.

love the "small pocket knife" in the next vid down :D ...

I like a little straight faced irony, too :D

And thanks to Carl for giving me something new to try, namely, filleting a sheet of paper :D

Cheers,
Paul.

After the first week of doing 204 demos I was bald from both elbows down, obviously I coundn't keep that up. I found that there was a wide scale of sharpness from a fair bit of pressure and a scrape that will remove hair to the other extreme where a wave over the arm and the hairs jump off in fright. Most people who are into knives can achieve at least the scrape type edge but taking the fillet out of the paper requires an edge fine enough to split the paper if it's not sharp enough it goes straight through.
Normaly at the begining of a demo I'll ask what they sharpen their knives with, then pull out the piece of paper take the fillet and ask " Have I got your attention?"
The knife in this pic is a 4inch drop pint O1 steel from Stewart Townsend. here in Oz
