Hey I have read this guy - good book I bought it in a second hand shop in London.

I agree with stevea - that and Mors kochanski's book would enable to you live in the wilds quite safetly - although you'd need a good plant guide as they are weak in those areas.

Excellent book - the only book I've got with a section on snares and traps

I read this after I'd finished Kochanski, Mears, Nessmuk and Kephart, and I reckon that I'd be happy just packing this one

I would agree with Boaty I also like his attitude to the use of snare and traps theme which flows throught the whole book. Very enlightning :super:

I'd love to try making the Tree Swinging Shelter from chapter 2 - looks really comfortable!

Ya was thinking of doing it with the scouts some time it looks like fun. I like the detail on the swag as well as I have been thinking about walk about with just a swag and the basic some time next year.

It is a cool book and I have not had one night since I got (two weeks ago) were I haven't fingered through it found something new. :biggthump
