Which is not quite an alliterative title
I have had server problems of late (along with the rest of county it seems) and so have not been following original thread
I have been doing various things.
I put up my Vango force ten. (in the garden, not in antarctica.) more on that later.
I have now got `another` tent.
I was at the car boot, buying some outdoor bits, and they said, "do you want the tent?" pointing to a nondecript bag "its only £1"
And you know me, I could not resist that.
When I got it home (the bag was not the original) I found a tent pretty much identical to the brown one (but with ali poles)
Its a Europleasure Trekker 2
Now this got me thinking, I like the brown tent, but it has no porch, and Im a firm believer in porches
so my new plan is to keep this new tent, (it has guys, but no pegs) as a tent.
the original tent in the pic I can turn into a porch annexe by adding zips up the sides and pitching face to the main tent.
I can cut up the inner, (will need to for the zips) and use the groundsheet either as a footprint or a sheet in the annexe.
the tent can be used with or without the extras, so if Im static I can have a porch, and if I want to walk about I can go light.
what do you think?
Another, further plan, inspired by the force ten, would be to give it an `A` frame (I have mustered some new ali poles but not enough, I could of course, just `A` frame the front, or see if I can find some more.)
