Sad to see that he's gone, he created something that i've thoroughly enjoyed over the years and I know a good few of you have as well...I saw that he'd passed away a few days ago but being asked to run some D&D made me think about it...

I still @39 do a bit of LARP (live action role play) that was a progression from table top - I owe him a great deal I would not have met my wife and had two great kids.

a sad loss,

I missed that, it was D&D that got me started in miniature gaming, wasn't on D&D for long before moving to historical stuff but I wouldn't have a loft full of lead if it wasn't for him

Cheers,

Alan

Yeah, was a sad day - was good that he was still managing to get his regular game in up until January though...
I'm more of a board-gamer these days - not enough people I know with enough time to RP...

That's quite sad to hear. Looks like he finally rolled a 1 on a saving throw. GG is responsible for hundreds if not thousands of lost hours in game prep as a GM never mind actually playing the damn game, for me.... Ahh he will be remembered with fondness, he gave a true treasure to the world - an easy way to access your imagination, a way to live out dreams and desires with friends.

Cheers, Nag.

Edit:

an easy way to access your imagination, a way to live out dreams and desires with friends. but not in an odd or weird way.. :lmao:

Well, at least he's probably giving Death a run for his money (http://www.xkcd.com/393/). ;)
