Here's a nice veg tanned leather mystery belt. This type doesn't have a traditional buckle but rather relies on a kind of tuck through knot. It can be used to dangle stuff from over your jacket, or it will pass for a utility belt in many historic periods. I have my own that I use for viking, anglo-saxon and iron age.
