I have an Australian Hootchie that i bought as ex issue. It is in pretty good condition on the whole but onr of the loops, 3/4 of the way down one side has a l shape rip that goes frmo the edge of the tarp, towards the middle (to the end of the tape) then across at 90 degrees again to the end of the tape.

I know this is not going to affect the performace of the tarp too much (as long as i do not want to use the loops down the affected side), but i am one of those guys that wold rather things be right... especially before putting any faith in it for shelter for extended periods.

I am sure someone must have repaired tarps before....

Can anyone point me in the right direction??

Also, never underestimate the power of gaffa tape...

Gaffa tape is like the force... it holds the universe together :naughty:
