View Full Version : Cheap sleeping bag?
Found this on Surplus and adventures website.
http://www.surplusandadventure.com/shopscr2108543.html.
It almost seems too cheap, anyone have any thoughts on this ?
I notice theres no temperature rating given.
(I know S & A have a bit of a bad reputation here but I've not personally had a problem with them...Yet, my LK35 was delivered within about a weeek from them)

I'm no expert either - but I'd imagine the Swedish Army knows a thing or two about sleeping bags..
I note, however, that it also doesn't list weight or dimensions - so you might be looking at one very heavy, very small bag? Also, the photo of it in the mini kit bag makes me think it's pretty bulky packed too...
I guess (wait for it...) it depends on when/where/how you're planning to use it? :D (Sorry - no help as such, except to prompt some analysis ;))
In the absence of any users on here, it might be worth emailing them to see if they can provide any further info?

I've not got any experiance of that particular bag myself but it looks huuuuge when packed up.
I'd google it to see if you can at least get the dimensions and temperature rating from somewhere first.
I personally got a Nanok -10 for £40 and have been very impressed with it (I think there are a lot of people on here that also got that same bag) but can't remember where I got it from. 'Surplus supplies' I think, something like that.
Looks like Open Air have an offer on Nanok Comfort -10 bags at the moment:

No connection, etc etc

Think they're any good?

The bag from surplus and adventure is old and quite useless. Waste of money IMO
