... what you think?

I don't believe it ... but I've just found a sick hedgehog in the garden and had about 100 angry wasps rise up out of the dustbin at me ... :yikes:

I don't either but I do think that people think about things that go wrong on the 13th then when it does happen were as any other day you would say will things happen.

Were does this Friday the 13th idea come from?

When King Louis the Fair of France and the Pope moved against the Knights Templars in the 13th Century, the day they chose to perform their mass arrests was A Friday, and it was the 13th day of the month. To the best of my knoweledge (conspiricy theories and secret societies are among my other hobbies) Friday the 13th has been considered a day of bad luck since then.

Damn, beaten again!
100% correct.

I find that Friday 13th is generally a good day for me.
The bus and trains were certainly on time this morning. Boots had the first aid bits I wanted. There was only a short queue at the ticket office.
And the weather forecast for the weekend has improved.

Friday the 13th is the best day of this week so far.

Monday - work problems
Tuesday- ill guinea pig and flooding at (home bridge damned) house just escaped.
Wednesday - piggie died -bummer
Thursday - even more flooding that got in the air brick and under the floor. Also tripped the electric.

Friday 13th - rain stopped, sun come out andI'm off away for the weekend.

I consider myself having been quite lucky on Friday the 13th, particularly because I was practicing my fox walking (with my eyes shut!) at the time and the above hedgehog was right where my next step was about to be!

Well, it was a great day for me. Aside from having no problems getting to work in the morning, the only bad thing was being told to change trains at the wrong station going to meet Womble for a weekend camping. Apart from that it was a good day!:-)

Well, i have had the worst run of bad luck i have ever had. I lost my knife. Then i lost my jumper (it was my favourite), then i lost my jacket (it was my second favourite). I can believe i keep losing things!

Cheers.

Jake
