I am looking at making a large Tipi style group shelter I was thinking an open fronted design with a single pole?

Anyone have any plans for building one? or any ideas?

If you fancy another type of shelter i can recommend a bender shelter made from flexible saplings in a circle then a canvas or old builders tarp thrown over the top. I have a shelter in my local haunt that was made from wych elm cordage and with various tree types for the sapling supports. Its very strong and with a small wood burning stove in the middle its tshirt weather inside :o even at this time of year ;)

I did post some pics in the out and about but they an the post seem to have vanished :( EDIT found it http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25399

Good luck
