Just picked up a Swedish Army surplus mil-spec Trangia cooker.

However, there does not seem to be a burner ring included with it. I have not had the chance to contact the seller about this. Everything else seems present and correct including the plastic fuel bottle.

Is this normal? Or do I have to obtain one separately? If so would someone let me know where to get one?

Thanks

Bruce

Nope - should be a small burner ring in there too - usually wrapped in newspaper. Suggest you get back to the seller and get a replacement.

Hi...

There should be a ring inside the lid of the burner. Or else do a google search.
I know there's a lot of surplus stores on the net.

Bruce your kit should have contained - the pot and lid - windshield - little fuel bottle - and the burner.

If not you need to chase the guy to find out where the missing part/s are.
