Underblankets???

Hi all

I have seen a lot of chatter about underblankets along with hammocks. My question is how do you use these items with a hammock?, are they strapped to the outer/underside of the hammock or are they inside and layed on.

Outside/underside so your weight is taken by the hammock and the insulation in the underblanket isn't compressed.

short answer, outer/underside, under the hammock between the hammock and the air not between you and the hammock.
